1994 Rover Mini Sidewalk Edition

Mini “Sidewalk” Edition เป็นรุ่นพิเศษของ Rover Mini ที่ถูกผลิตขึ้นเพียง 1,000 คันทั่วโลก นับเป็นหนึ่งใน Mini ที่หายากรุ่นหนึ่ง โดยมีไฮไลต์สำคัญคือภายในตกแต่งด้วยผ้า Plain Blue สลับกับลาย Blue Tartan ตัดกันกับสายเข็มขัดนิรภัยสีแดง ซึ่งมีเฉพาะในรุ่นนี้เท่านั้น ภายนอกรถ Sidewalk มีสามสีให้เลือกคือ White Diamond, Charcoal Metallic, และ Kingfisher Blue Metallic โดยคันนี้เป็นสี Charcoal Metallic ดั้งเดิม และยังมีการตกแต่งพิเศษเฉพาะรุ่นนี้เช่น Logo Mini หน้ารถเป็นสีฟ้าลวดลายเดียวกับ Tartan ภายใน และสติกเกอร์ Sidewalk ที่ด้านข้างและหลังรถ ในห้องเครื่องเป็นเครื่องยนต์ A-Series 1,275 cc. ดั้งเดิมจากโรงงาน จ่ายน้ำมันด้วยระบบหัวฉีด และส่งกำลังผ่านเกียร์ธรรมดา 4-สปีด

รถคันนี้ผลิตในปี 1994 จากนั้นได้ถูกนำเข้ามาในประเทศไทยและนำออกประมูลโดยกรมศุลกากร โดยมีการจดทะเบียนในประเทศไทยครั้งเเรกปี 2012 และครอบครองโดยเจ้าของท่านเดิมมาโดยตลอด ปัจจุบันรถมีการตกแต่งเพิ่มเติมคือชุดเบรค กระจังหน้า และล้อขนาด 12 นิ้ว โดยสปอยเลอร์หลังและในภาพได้ถูกถอดออกแล้วและจะไม่ถูกจำหน่ายไปพร้อมกับรถ

รถคันนี้เชื่อได้ว่าเป็น Rover Mini “Sidewalk” เพียงคันเดียวในประเทศไทย สภาพรถในปัจจุบันเชื่อว่าไม่เคยถูกซ่อมทำสีมาก่อน จึงมีการเสื่อมสภาพตามกาลเวลา และมีสีแตกในบางจุด ส่วนเครื่องยนต์กลไกได้รับการบำรุงรักษาให้อยู่ในสภาพพร้อมขับ เลขระยะทางปัจจุบันแสดงตัวเลข 12,652 ไมล์

The Rover Mini "Sidewalk" Edition is a limited special variant of the Rover Mini with production restricted to just 1,000 units worldwide, making it one of the rarest Mini models produced. Its most distinctive feature is the unique interior upholstery combining Plain Blue fabric with Blue Tartan patterns, complemented by striking red safety belts—a combination exclusive to this edition.

Externally, the Sidewalk was available in three color options: White Diamond, Charcoal Metallic, and Kingfisher Blue Metallic. This particular example sports the original Charcoal Metallic finish. Special model-specific exterior details include a blue Mini logo on the front that matches the interior, along with "Sidewalk" decals adorning both the sides and rear of the vehicle.

Under the bonnet resides the factory-original A-Series 1,275 cc engine, featuring fuel injection and paired with a 4-speed manual transmission.

Manufactured in 1994, this vehicle was subsequently imported into Thailand and acquired by the current owner through a Customs Department Auction. It received its first Thai registration in 2012 which recorded a single owner since then. The current configuration includes aftermarket upgrades such as a performance brake kit, custom front grille, and 12-inch wheels. It's worth noting that the rear spoiler shown in the photographs has been removed and will not be included with the sale.

This Mini is believed to be the only “Sidewalk” in Thailand. It is said to retain its original paintwork with no previous respray, though it naturally shows age-related deterioration with some cracking in certain areas. Mechanically, the car has been maintained in a ready-to-drive condition, with the odometer reading 12,652 miles.
